Is there something I could eat to stop my hair loss?
I am only 16, so this really scares me! My hair loss is pretty bad: i lose my hair from the roots, and whenever I take my shower and roll my hair to get rid of the water, 10-15 hairs come out all at the same time. And i also lose my hair all throughout the day. Apparently, hair loss can be triggered by vitamins that are missing in ones diet, but I don’t know what those vitamins are, so I need help!

There are a variety of things that can cause hair loss. Iron-deficient anemia can do it, but you need to have your iron levels checked by a lab before you pop any iron supplements. B-complex vitamins may help especially if you’ve been stressed out for awhile or are consuming too much caffeine and it flushes the b-vitamins from your body. Some chronic illnesses such as lupus also may cause hair loss. Avoiding stress as much as possible. And you can buy shampoos with rosemary in it that help to keep your hair from falling out, it increases circulation to the scalp. Doing a scalp massage a few times a day also helps with hair growth.
Your hair-loss may be normal, 10-15 hairs is not all that much, the average is 100 hairs per day.
some people lose their hair due to poor nutrition.. omega 3 is excellent for the promotion of faster hair growth and helps your hair to be healthier.
If you are balding, no , there is not. I started at 17. And there men that even started younger. Is your father bald ? your older brother ? Do a research online , to see if you have male pattern baldness ( the common hair loss in men ) and if so, get a real hair loss treatment like rogain, propecia, etc. There are various forums with a lot of info.
Do not get in panic, with the right treatment, you can keep your hair forever .
Try this,http://www.laserhair-comb.com ,it works very nice.
All the best
If you have a chance, i’d check out a doctor and see if there’s any hormonal imbalance because I know in men, male pattern baldness is causes by oversensitivity to this hormone called DHT which everyone has. But in certain people, it causes hair to grow really weak and thin in certain spots until it stops growing altogether which may be what’s happening in your situation. My dad went through the same thing and then finally went to try out Bosley’s treatment because he didn’t want to buy a wig or pay for a ton of medication; they schooled us on the causes of it when we met with them. Happy to say that for him, the procedure worked and so far the hairline they made for him has held up.
